To cruise or not to cruise???

Some people chooses to take a cruise as their way of relaxation while on a travel. It sounds like you are still in your own house, apartment or hotel but in a floating, moving and cruising pleasure while you are on your way to your destination.

Being away from the pollution, the hustle and bustle of the city, the noises caused by traffic jams and the crowds will be a no choice for one not to drop temporarily your everyday exhaustion, obligations and stress from work and worries.

I wonder why I haven’t been attracted or had any interest on cruises at all, considering that my country Philippines is an archipelago. With it’s wonderful beaches and lot of different places to visit both disc0vered with c0mplete amenities, water sports and the virgin islands.

Until I met my girlfriend who once dreamed of becoming a seawoman, while I, on the other hand is a frustrated flight attendant. We both have passion’s for travel & adventures. Still at that time, I thought traveling by sea or cruise was a boring idea compared to travelling by plane which is more cheaper, faster and convenient.

I later realize then that it will be an experience to remember that I want to try with my girlfriend once I got the money and time for that. She also opened my eyes that it will be a brilliant idea even at the back of my mind it will be a long trip and a little costly, but heck we just want to have fun!

We regularly surf the web on "google" or "wiki" for more relevant informati0ns and we happen to come across by this "Island Cruise 7107 vessel", they offer different tour packages all over the Philippines. I thought then that the cruise tour will be a unique experience to bond with mother nature as well.

Island hopping is the main appetite of the trip. Stops fr0m Manila port were Palawan, included are little islands, Coron, lakes such as Twin Lakes, Kayangan Lake, El Nido, Malcapuya Island, Monsonon Island all the way to Boracay where it is famous for it's unbeatable nightlife and good food, not to forget Cebu, Bohol to Mindanao. There’s lot’s of activities that they offer in each island plus the different places to visit. I had read a lot of blogs, magazines and heard stories from friends too about cruising.

I just can’t wait to try it out with my girlfriend who is closest to my heart. I miss the seabreeze, the greens & the clear blue water, island hopping, fresh air that is away fr0m the city.

BORACAY

Whenever i got a spare time and money.. this is the only place in my mind that I really want to stay and visit. Boracay islands. Located in the Visayan Region Philippines. I have been to a lot of beaches in this country.. for me this is the best. It is also considered the best beach in the world. Many people will agree on this, but some disagree because it has been over-crowded now by this time. Even though it is still the favorite place to hang-out during summer. People who loves crowd will definitely love the white sand, the ambiance as well as the restaurants and the bars there. The island itself has 3 statons. From station 1, 2 and 3. For me I can say that station 2 is the best part of the beach. Since it is the center part of the island. Station one is for "AAA" resorts, where the environment is more quiet and private. It is usually where big events such as weddings takes place. The picture at the right is a scenic shot later in the afternoon at around 5:30pm from station 2.

For me it is still the best beach that I really hope, people will respect and protect for the benefit of younger generations to see and enjoy.
